Tarrytown Environmental Action Committee understands the importance and benefits of getting outdoors and our town is filled with numerous trails and parks you can enjoy. Below is a list of some of the main trails and outdoor areas you can enjoy in Tarrytown.

TARRYTOWN LAKES PARK

Tarrytown Lakes Park has a paved bike path and a cinder path, both of which are accessible from Neperan Road. The paved bike path connects to the North and South County trail and is popular with runners, walkers, and cyclists; it also features many excellent fishing spots. The cinder path along the western side of the lakes provides access to beautiful scenery as well as Wilson Park. For more information:

OLD CROTON AQUEDUCT

FROM YONKERS TO THE THE NEW CROTON DAM

The Old Croton Aqueduct is a linear park that extends throughout the county with a lovely section in Tarrytown and nearby Sleepy Hollow. Detailed maps are available here:

ROCKEFELLER PARK PRESERVE

Located nearby and accessible via the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail is Rockefeller Park Preserve, which contains numerous gorgeous trails popular with runners, walkers, and hikers. Detailed information is available here: 

SCENIC HUDSON RIVERWALK

Located along the beautiful Hudson River, the Scenic Riverwalk is a paved trail popular with walkers, runners, and cyclists. It winds along open areas where summer concerts are held and contains playgrounds including a water park popular with kids in the summer. More details are found here:
