Westchester County has initiated a sale of rain barrels and compost kits for both backyard and kitchen collection at cost.
Order your compost and rain barrels now! Our weather will continue to be unpredictable so rain barrels are a good insurance policy to be sure. Home composting is great for your garden and plantings, and improves the efficiency of our waste-to-energy facility in Peekskill. Let’s continue moving to Zero Waste!
Order by September 30 using the link below, pick up at Hilltop and grab some fresh produce at the farm stand, we still have amazing offerings including a new local pie vendor just to tempt you. The pies look delicious.
The pick up is at Hilltop Hanover Farm on Saturday Oct 1 – or for those attending the TEAC Eco Fair Saturday in Tarrytown 10-2, pick up is Sunday, Oct 2.
